Video features Jeremy Hajek’s project on Large-Scale Immersive Hologram to Show the Real Impact of Sea Level Rise

Jeremy Hajek, Industry Associate Professor of Information Technology and Management, was interviewed for a video showcasing his funded research on using Large-Scale Immersive Hologram to Show the Real Impact of Sea Level Rise on city of Ft. Lauderdale. He built a large scale immersive hologram using augmented reality that allows people to see the impact of an increase in sea level.

Professor Hajek’s research received a grant sub-award and is in conjunction with Florida Atlantic University. Additional funding to purchase the HoloLens Unit was provided by the Coleman Foundation for Entrepreneurship through Nik Rokop. Professor Hajek stated, “We would like to thank the Coleman Foundation for their financial support.”
