Space Requests

Space is a university resource, as well as an asset to campus operations. Spaces are not permanently assigned; however, through the use of the Space Allocation Form and by provost approval, spaces can be reassigned. Once a department moves out of an area, it is returned to the Planning Design and Construction department to be reassigned according to the master plan. All space requests are reviewed based upon university strategic priorities, the master plan, and the utilization of existing space. Space allocation and moves can be both time consuming and costly, so funding should be identified in advance of space requests. Once a move has been approved to move forward, we will work with the requesting department to produce space layouts with the help of our student employees.
