Program Description

Embark on a captivating exploration of psychology in our week-long summer program tailored for high school students. This engaging experience offers a sneak peek into the scientific marvels of psychology, providing participants with valuable insights into collegiate-level studies, self-discovery, and the art of therapy.

Structured around five dynamic themes, the program commences with an illuminating introduction to the foundations of psychology. As an exciting twist, participants will immerse themselves in an interactive and technology-driven psychology research day where they’ll conduct experiments using statistical tools and assessment kits. This hands-on experience promises a deeper understanding of research methodologies and data analysis, empowering students with practical skills.

On psychotherapy day, students will step into the roles of both the counselor and the client in a unique and immersive role-playing session. This experiential approach offers a firsthand understanding of therapeutic dynamics, adding a practical layer to theoretical knowledge. The week concludes with a comprehensive exploration of psychology careers and admissions, providing valuable insights into diverse professional paths within the field.
