Graduates of the Certificate in Computer Engineering program gain proficiency in one of several areas, including VLSI design, computer networks, computer hardware, and software design.

Career Opportunities

An advanced education opens up a variety of career opportunities.

Certificate programs typically require a set of three to four courses that must be completed in three years with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Note: some courses in the certificate program may have prerequisites.

Students who are admitted to master’s degree programs may apply coursework previously taken in a certificate program toward the requirements for the master’s degree.
