United States visa regulations require international students to provide evidence of funds to meet expenses incurred during their study. This requires you to fill out a Financial Affidavit of Support form (see links below) and documentation which is explained on the form. A signature in ink is required (not an electronic signature). The "sponsor" in the form refers to a willing and able individual who can financially support the student. An example is a parent.
