The Center shall actively cooperate and coordinate activities with agencies of the Federal government and with professional organizations and programs such as the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP), the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), UniForum, CompTIA, InfraGard, and others. The Center shall make every effort to engage in joint activities with these organizations and to encourage them to engage with the Center whenever possible.
