Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?
I love flying and learning how things work, so Aerospace Engineering was a natural progression!
What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?
It provides a community of smart and welcoming people.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
I see myself having a job in the aerospace industry and traveling in my free time.
How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?
I was captain of my Rocketry team in high school, and I taught other people how to compete in The American Rocketry Challenge. I regularly try to volunteer in my community, whether that be at a public garden or with my former rowing team setting up events. My senior year of high school, I was working with a Professor at North Carolina State University to analyze the compound-v flock structure of shore birds. Now, I am a part of IIT Rocketry to develop a rocket entirely fabricated by students.
