Major and Graduation

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Management with a specialization in forensics, Expected Graduation: 2026

Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?

I chose IT because of some work I did with my FBI STEM program in high school. I felt passionate about it and it excites me to know that I could make a career doing something I loved. I hope to use what I learned to help people in the future, working in the FBI.

What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?

My favorite thing is that scholars vary among their majors and specializations. Every time we meet, we have such amazing discussions where I can learn from many different perspectives and takes. Helps me see past my academic bubble.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

In 20 years I see myself living in a city, working my dream job in the FBI, an Information Technology Specialist Forensic Engineer. I have my own apartment and my own pets and remain in touch with friends and family.

How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?

I had been volunteering at a soccer camp for numerous years, and they offered me a job as an administrator. I have been helping coaches, parents, and kids between 4 and 14 years of age to further develop their love of soccer and become their leaders within the community, reflecting upon their character from on the field to off the field. I am proud to be part of that community and love to see it grow each time I go back. In addition, I will be part of a team to help build a lab for the ITM department under Professor Billy. Also an ITM Representative for WiSTEM and participating in Special Project 497.
