Add Materials to Your Canvas Site

  1. Open your course.
  2. Click on the + Module button at the top right.
  3. Type a name for your module in the space provided.
  4. You can either drag and drop your files directly from your computer, or you can click on the + icon on the right side of your module ribbon.
  5. In the opening pop-up, open the drop-down menu and select the type of content that you need to add to your module. For example, Assignment, Quiz, File, Page, etc.
  6. If you need to add a file such as a PDF or a PPTX, select File.
  7. Click [Create File(s)].
  8. Click Choose Files.
  9. Select the file that you need to add from your computer.
  10. Click on Add item to upload the file to your course.
  11. Now, you can see the content is added under your module.

Note: You need to add items one by one.
