    • Investigating novel catalysts for CO2 electro-reduction to sustainable fuels.
    • Developing efficient methods for biomass conversion into renewable fuels.
    • Studying the impact of different reaction conditions on the selectivity and efficiency of fuel production.
  2. Energy Storage Systems:
    • Exploring the design and optimization of solid-state batteries for enhanced energy storage.
    • Investigating the feasibility of using seawater batteries for sustainable energy storage solutions.
    • Researching lithium-air batteries to improve their energy density and cycling stability.
  3. Electrochemistry and Electrocatalysis:
    • Developing new electrocatalysts for various energy conversion reactions, including water electrolysis and CO2 reduction.
    • Investigating the mechanisms and kinetics of electrochemical reactions for improved efficiency.
    • Studying the electrochemical behavior of different materials for applications in energy conversion systems.
  4. Surface Chemistry:
    • Investigating the adsorption and desorption processes on catalyst surfaces for catalytic and electrocatalytic reactions.
    • Studying the role of surface morphology and composition in influencing reaction kinetics.
    • Exploring surface modification techniques to enhance the catalytic activity and selectivity of materials.
