Campus Safety Week Coming September 2026!

Illinois Tech will host Campus Safety Week this September, featuring a variety of resource fairs, workshops, and opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to learn more about campus safety and emergency preparedness.

Explore the safety resources available at Illinois Tech and build practical skills to help you feel more confident and prepared before an emergency happens.
Details are still being finalized, but here’s what you can expect:

• Two Campus Safety Resource Fairs
  Connect with the Office of Emergency Management, Public Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, and more! Learn about the resources, services, and support available to the Illinois Tech community.
• Stop the Bleed Workshop
  Learn basic lifesaving skills for responding to severe bleeding. This hands-on workshop will teach you how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and provide immediate care while waiting for emergency responders.
• Campus Safety Basics 
  Learn who to contact in an emergency, what safety resources are available on campus, how to receive important alerts, and simple steps you can take to stay informed and prepared.
