INTM CONTINUES WORKSHOP SERIES 2013-14

INTM's popular Workshops for current students and alumni are starting now! These extracurricular sessions are designed for students interested in updating their job-search and interviewing skills or delving hands-on into industry-specific analytical tools.

Job Search Workshops 2013

• October 21 & October 30 (4:00 - 5:30 p.m.)

Professor Herb Shields shares his expertise as a hiring manager and business professional in this popular workshop series offered every semester. His practical tips and strategies for job searches as well as for on-the-job success have resulted in positive employment connections for many INTM students.

Minitab Workshops 2013

• October 26 & November 9 (12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Professor Rama Shankar whose professional experience includes setting up Quality Management Systems for various companies, is offering a new Minitab workshop this spring. Many INTM students can benefit from using Minitab, a statistical software that helps with data evaluation, quantitative analysis, and detecting trends. This workshop is divided into four segments (two per session) and is intended to be sequential. It will begin with an overview of Minitab and how it applies to different kinds of data. Students will learn about data analysis terms and tools, and how and when to use them as industrial managers.
