MSED Presents at NARST and NSTA Conferences April, 2013

Professor Norman Lederman and Assistant Professor Judith S. Lederman along with several IIT mathematics and science education Ph.D. students will present results of various research projects at the national meeting of the National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST), April 4-8, 2013 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. NARST is an international organization of professionals committed to the improvement of science teaching and learning through research. The annual meeting is the largest research meeting on science teaching and learning in the world.

The Ledermans’ and their students will present several workshops to classroom teachers at the annual meeting of the National Science Teachers Association www.nsta.org/conferences. The conference, “Next Generation Science: Learning, Literacy, and Living” will be held in San Antonio, Texas, April 11–14, 2013. The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), founded in 1944, is the largest organization in the world committed to promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all.
