More in Quality of WorkLife

The Quality of WorkLife (QWL) committee aims to promote the wellbeing and sense of community amongst our colleagues by organizing special events throughout the year for Illinois Tech employees. QWL has planned outings to the circus, plays, restaurants, baseball games, breweries, and much more! See a list of some past events. In addition to a variety of rotating events throughout the year, QWL also plans the annual university family picnic, the university holiday party, and monthly faculty and staff gatherings called “4th @ 4” -- the fourth Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. See our list of events, or check Illinois Tech Today regularly to see what's coming up.

The QWL committee and concept was formed in 2004 by then Illinois Tech president Lew Collens to explore non-monetary benefits that Illinois Tech could offer that would improve the quality of life for Illinois Tech employees.
