Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?
I've always been fascinated by chemistry and wanted to work in space technology. A friend's dad led me onto the idea of material science and I found the topic very fascinating. With my degree, I would like to join the team that sees humanity land on Mars.
What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?
My favorite parts are connecting to other scholars, and the opportunities the program provides.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Singing along to songs from the early 2010's telling my kid, "Awww man! What you know about this?!" after every new hit comes up.
How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?
I've had some trouble with public speaking in the past and I wanted to make a public speaking club to help myself and other students help overcome this fear. I started this initiative as a Pillar Project with Shreyas Suresh, another Camras Scholar, and we hope to be leaders on working through difficulties with public speaking.
