Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?
I chose Biomedical Engineering because I wanna help make peoples lives easier. With my degree, I want to lessen the stress and pain many patients with chronic illnesses deal with every day.
What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?
My favorite thing about the Camras Scholars program is how open and accepting everyone is, it’s like a big family!
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
I see myself being a successful scientist who has published many research papers and changed the medical world.
How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?
I’m the events chair for our WiSTEM organization, which means I make sure gender minorities voices are heard and give them the support they need to succeed in a male-dominated field.
