Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?
I have always wanted to major in computer science, but artificial intelligence is always interested me the most. When I saw that was an option as a major at Illinois Tech, I just knew I had to do it.
What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?
I love the community it has provided me! I have found some of my closest friends from this program and I am so grateful for it.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
In 20 years I hope to be in a business where I can be successfully doing what I love.
How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?
In 2021, I was granted the President’s Volunteer Service Award by Prudential Financial’s Spirit of Community. I received it for garnering over 625 service hours from 2016-2022, most notably the 250 hours I spent from 2020-2021 working as a mentor for low-income, minority girls wanting to learn more about STEM.
