Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
For questions regarding Curricular Practical Training (CPT) requirements or other immigration matters, contact Illinois Tech’s Office of Global Services. Employers seeking verification for students with F1 Visa status who have participated in an internship or co-op should contact the student’s former employer. Authorized CPT employment information—including company name, address, and employment dates—are listed on page three of student I-20 forms.
Employers seeking verification for students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have participated in an internship or co-op should also contact the student’s former employer.
