International students can submit their Curricular Practical Training (CPT) forms and offer letters, with position descriptions, to the Office of Global Services to obtain a new I-20. All I-20s take seven business days to be generated.
Handshake Submission Deadline for Earliest State Date

Handshake applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on this date to ensure enough processing time for a Monday, May 13 start date. Submitting by this date still requires prompt attention to requests from Experiential Learning for revisions to the Handshake application to guaranteed a Monday, May 13 start.

Students completing a for-credit internship must end their internship during this window of time. Experiences can be extended into the summer, but a new application for Summer 2023 must be completed. Dates and details for Summer 2023 will be posted in March/April 2023.
Experiential Learning-Fall 2023 (August 21-December 16)
Attention: Students planning to continue their Summer 2023 internship experience this Fall, we recommend you begin the application process as soon as possible! Note that you will be able to continue your experience without interruption on Monday, August 14, assuming that you complete the application process in a timely manner, and that application processing will begin on July 17th.
