The Illinois Institute of Technology Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM) student chapter, in collaboration with the national organization, strives to bridge the gap between industry and academia through on-campus seminars, lectures, and workshops, as well as offsite national student competitions and facility tours.
A highlight of Illinois Tech’s partnership with ASCM is the annual Chicago Case Competition, in which teams from different universities present case solutions to a panel of industry judges. The case studies illustrate how industry and business professionals plan for the future, and teams look at questions such as: When does the future start? What will the future look like? What preparations should be made? When should those preparations be implemented?
