Illinois Tech Mumbai Receives UGC Letter of Approval
Illinois Tech Mumbai is the first U.S. university to establish a campus in India and to award degrees in the country. The University Grants Commission's Letter of Approval was announced in July 2026, when students and families were also invited to attend a special Campus Reveal event.
