Once you receive your academic adviser’s information you are encouraged to reach out to him/her to begin your advising conversation. Some advisers will advise you and help you register for courses via email, while others prefer to wait until you arrive on campus during Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) to advise you in person.
In order to register for any course, you will need a unique 6-digit PIN number. Only your academic adviser can give you your PIN. If you do not contact your adviser before you arrive at Illinois Tech, you can meet with Undergraduate Academic Affairs (UGAA) during a designated time at Orientation to register for courses.
You must complete all required placement assessments for your program prior to registering for courses.
If courses are full, you can add your name to a waitlist.
You can continue to update your course schedule all summer and make any changes once AP or transfer credits are added to your account.
