Dual-Credit Partnerships

As part of its dual enrollment offerings, Illinois Tech’s Elevate College Prep partners with high schools in Chicago and beyond to offer dual-credit courses, which allow students to earn high school and college credit for the same course.

Spring 2026 Dual-Credit Partnership

Illinois Tech and Lindblom Math and Science Academy are partnering to offer the following dual-credit course for the spring 2026 semester. 

CS 115: Introduction to Computer Science

This course introduces the use of a high-level, object-oriented programming language as a problem-solving tool. Students will learn about basic data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming techniques, and industry-standard software documentation. This course is designed for students with little to no prior programming experience and is ideal for those exploring computer science pathways.

Prerequisites: Minimum 2.5 grade-point average; must be at least a high school sophomore; prior computer science-related coursework is helpful but not required
