2019 Summer Courses
Introduction to Engineering and Fabrication Studio
This two-week intensive class gave students the opportunity to explore areas of engineering in greater depth and see how math and science provide a basis for technology innovation. Lectures alternated between studio experience, workshops, and field trips.
Students selected optional areas of concentration, which included biomedical engineering, civil and architectural engineering, robotics and automation, or drafting and prototyping.
Introduction to Biomedical Engineering
In this course, students were introduced to a range of opportunities and applications in biomedical engineering. They learned how to use electrophysiology laboratory equipment and software to measure and analyze their own heart, muscle, and brain electrical signals.
