International Education Week

International Education Week

As one of the country’s most international universities, Illinois Tech takes great pride in the diversity of our university community. This year we’re joining in the global celebration through International Education Week (IEW), November 16–20. IEW highlights the many benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. It is part of a national effort to promote programs that prepare people in the United States for a global environment and to attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

The IEW theme—Engaged. Resilient. Global.—captures Illinois Tech’s commitment to a welcoming and inclusive environment. Join Illinois Tech as we recognize and celebrate international diversity on our campuses with our own week-long selection of special virtual events open to the university community.

IEW is a joint effort between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.

If you want to add your organization’s IEW 2020 event to this page, please email Hannah Belshee.

I am celebrating IEW because diversity in education undeviatingly reshapes our performance by boosting creativity, more solid education, and as well as differing viewpoints that can collaborate to create innovation and solutions."
