Illinois Tech’s Stuart School of Business and Yonsei University School of Business in Seoul, South Korea, have partnered to offer three dual degree programs designed to prepare graduates with the global perspective, business acumen, and technical skills to advance to high-level positions at global corporations.
The two-year programs pair Yonsei’s Global Master of Business Administration program with your choice of a specialized master of science program at Stuart in finance, marketing analytics, or sustainability analytics and management. The programs include a year of residence on each campus.

Graduates of the Illinois Tech-Yonsei dual degree programs will launch their careers with expert knowledge of management theories and practice, high-level professional skills in an area of specialization, and international experience applying their learning in business settings in the United States and Korea.

The Dual Degree Advantage
In the Illinois Tech-Yonsei dual degree programs, credits for some of the courses taken in each program are shared and applied toward both degrees. Thus the total number of credits a student needs to earn two degrees is reduced, compared with enrolling in the two degree programs separately.
Global Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Yonsei Business School
- • One year of full-time residence (fall through summer) at Yonsei University
- • The Global M.B.A. degree requires 51 credits. Of those, a student takes 30 credits at Yonsei and receives 21 shared credits for courses taken at Stuart.
- • This is typically the first year of the dual degree program
Master of Science (M.S.) from Stuart School of Business
- • One academic year of full-time residence (fall and spring semesters) at Illinois Tech
- • Degree options: M.S. in Finance, M.S. in Marketing Analytics, or M.S. in Sustainability Analytics and Management
- • Each of the M.S. degrees requires 33 credits. Of those, a student takes 24 credits at Stuart and receives 9 shared credits for courses taken at Yonsei.

To apply for the Illinois Tech/Yonsei University Dual Degree program, submit your application:
Note for all applicants: If you are applying for the Stuart M.S. in Finance program or M.S. in Marketing Analytics program, you must choose “Yonsei Dual Degree” in the cohort drop down menu. If you are applying for the Stuart M.S. in Sustainability Analytics and Management program, you must choose “Yonsei Dual Degree EMS” in the cohort drop down menu. Additionally, choose “First Year” for Student Type and “Master of Science (with thesis)” for Degree.
For applicants who are NOT current M.B.A. students at Yonsei University: To apply to the dual degree program, you must complete two applications, one at Illinois Tech and one at Yonsei University. Use the cohort application link (above) to upload all documents and submit your application to Illinois Tech. Even in the case that Yonsei University declines admission, Illinois Tech may still admit an applicant to one of the Stuart M.S. programs.
For current M.B.A. students at Yonsei University: To apply to the dual degree program, you must complete two applications, one at Yonsei University and one at Illinois Tech. Use the cohort application link (above) to upload all documents and submit your application to Illinois Tech.
