The Research Post Award Offices of Research Administration Services (RAS) and Grant and Contract Accounting (GCA) serve Illinois Tech research investigators, department administrators, and partner research support offices by proactively providing post-award planning, administrative support, accounting, and financial compliance services to those involved in sponsored research.
- Research Administration Services (RAS) operates on a portfolio model, where each grant is assigned to one of our team members. The RAS team will monitor spending, meet regularly with stakeholders, and serve as a resource to connect researchers with administrative support throughout campus.
- Grant and Contract Accounting (GCA) provides accounting and financial compliance services for sponsored projects. In addition, GCA oversees compliance with university policies and procedures as well as with federal and non-federal rules and regulations that are required by various funding agencies.
- For research proposal and pre-award needs, faculty should continue to engage with the research pre-award Office of Sponsored Research and Programs.
