Emeritus Faculty

Appointment to the rank of associate professor emeritus, professor emeritus, or distinguished professor emeritus may be awarded to a retiring full-time, tenured faculty member in recognition of his or her distinguished and sustained service to the university. The appointment is made upon the joint recommendation of the academic unit, the dean of a college (in the case of an academic unit that is located within a college with departments), and the provost.

Note: Faculty members who have an asterisk after their name are distinguished professor emeritus.
