The Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research (WISER) hosts its annual Distinguished Lectureship Series to feature timely lectures in energy and sustainability for an audience of representatives from the academic (students and faculty), industrial, and government sectors. The series is co-hosted each year by Illinois Institute of Technology’s Armour College of Engineering and the Chicago Council on Science and Technology.
2026 Distinguished Lectureship
WISER welcomed Jennifer Holmgren, chairman and CEO of LanzaTech and director and chair of the LanzaJet Board of Directors. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and, in 2023, was named to the Time100 Climate: Time’s inaugural list of the 100 most influential climate leaders in business.
Holmgren's lecture was titled, “Innovation for a Circular Carbon Economy.”
