If your instructor gives you an assignment to create a video or audio creation (Media Assignment), use Panopto to create and store your creation.
To submit a multimedia assignment in Panopto:
- Open the assignment in Canvas.
- In the Rich Context Editor toolbar, click on the green Panopto icon. If you don't see it, click on the electric plug icon and you'll find it there.
- Choose between uploading a video from your own Panopto folder, your device, or record your video directly in Panopto by going to the "Record" tab.
- If you chose to upload the video directly from your Panopto folder, or your device, select the video from your Panopto video library or from your device, and then click "Insert".
- Then, you'll see the video embedded in the Rich Context Editor. Add any text if you'd like and click "Submit Assignment" when finished.
