Applying for Graduation
All students must submit an application for graduation with the Office of Academic Affairs to participate in Commencement.
The graduation application deadline has passed. Consideration for late applications for graduation will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact undergraduate or graduate academic affairs (aa@illinoistech.edu) for more information.
International Students
Invitation letters issued by Illinois Tech are not required by the United States Embassy or Consulate to issue a B-2 tourist visa. If you have family or friends that would like to visit you in the U.S., you may provide them with your own invitation letter. The letter should include your name, identify the person you are inviting, their relationship to you, and state the duration and purpose of the trip. For more information, please visit the Letter Requests page or contact the Office of Global Services (global@illinoistech.edu).
Technology Access Post Graduation
To assist with your post-commencement transition, the Office of Technology Services (OTS) has created a guide for alumni technology access. If you have issues or questions, please contact the OTS Support Desk at supportdesk@illinoistech.edu.
