This is the checklist for current degree students who are conditionally/fully admitted to the Illinois Tech Coursera programs!
Step 1: Provide any required documentation for your program.
- MBA/MIT/MDS: Please submit your BA transcript to the grad admission once you pass the PBA courses and before you earn 9 credits. You can find more information about the process to submit your BA transcript on Coursera FAQ page.
- BIT: Once you finish each Performance Pathway course with a B or higher and transfer 61 credits, you’ll gain conditional admission to the Bachelor of IT program. That’s in addition to any prior learning credit you request if you’ve completed eligible Professional Certificate programs.
Step 2: Check IIT Coursera Academic Calendar and mark important dates.
Step 3: Check course offerings for the next term on Coursera Course Offerings page.
Step 4: Check which courses you need to take to satisfy your requirements with your academic advisor or using Degree Works.
Step 5: Register for core/specialization courses on Illinois Tech Portal.
Step 6: Access your courses on Coursera.
Step 7: Complete your courses with a C or higher and maintain at least 3.0 GPA.
Step 8: Map out your graduation plan and prepare for future terms with your academic advisor or using Degree Works
Step 9: (Optional) Submit your Industry Certificates to replace courses if you are close to completing your requirements. You can find more information about Industry Certificates on Coursera FAQ page.
Step 10: If you are close to completing your requirements, apply for graduation before the deadline.
