Armour Celebrates Women’s History Month

In 1959 Lois Graham earned her Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, the first woman in the country to receive the degree. Now, in 2021, women lead more than half of Armour College of Engineering’s student organizations. Below, we are proud to celebrate these leaders of Armour’s student organizations as they describe the community of women in engineering at Armour and their excitement about the future of the field.
