Service Statement:
The Office of the Registrar serves as the steward of institutional academic information and student records to serve students, faculty, staff and alumni at Illinois Institute of Technology. The Office of the Registrar maintains accurate, timely and secure information to support and enforce academic policy, registration, grading, course information, the production of diplomas and official transcripts, and other related university functions. Our knowledgeable and helpful staff are dedicated to providing courteous and professional services.
Important News:
Office Closing
Banner, the application that manages IIT's core data and information systems, will undergo a vital upgrade later this month, when summer classes conclude. Due to the complex nature of this upgrade, many IIT systems will be unavailable for several days, beginning Wednesday, July 28 at 5:30 pm through 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 1. Please also note that transcript orders submitted during the upgrade will not be processed until August 2nd. The Office of the Registrar will be closed Thursday, July 29 and Friday July 30.
Summer 2010 Diplomas
Diplomas for all students awarded their degrees during the summer term will be available in late August. Students will receive an email prior to their distribution requesting their choice of collecting the diploma in the Office of the Registrar or having it mailed.
Graduation 2010
The Commencement Ceremony was held on May 15, 2010. Please visit the Graduation web site at http://www.iit.edu/graduation for video and photos from the ceremony.
Fall Registration 2010
Registration alternate pins are available on students' myIIT accounts for continuing graduate students.
Undergraduate students should contact their advisor for their registration alternate pin. After an undergraduate student registers the first time for the semester the pin will appear on their myIIT account.
