Service Statement:
The Office of the Registrar serves as the steward of institutional academic information and student records to serve students, faculty, staff and alumni at Illinois Institute of Technology. The Office of the Registrar maintains accurate, timely and secure information to support and enforce academic policy, registration, grading, course information, the production of diplomas and official transcripts, and other related university functions. Our knowledgeable and helpful staff are dedicated to providing courteous and professional services.

Fall 2010 CTA UPASS Distribution Dates
CTA UPASS distribution will occur Monday, August 23, 2010 through Wednesday, August 25, 2010 and September 3, 2010 from 8:30am to 3 pm in McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) Ballroom. Cameras will be available to create UPASS cards for new students as well as preprinted cards.
Students must bring their student ID and be registered as full-time prior to picking up their U-Pass.
Returning Shimer Students
CTA UPASS distribution will occur ONLY on August 23, 2010 from 10 am to Noon in the same location listed above.
New Shimer Students
CTA UPASS distribution will occur ONLY on August 25, 2010 from 10 am to Noon in the same location listed above.
After September 3, 2010, students can obtain their U-Pass in the Office of the Registrar, Main Building Room 104.
Summer 2010 Diplomas
Diplomas for all students awarded their degrees during the summer term will be available in late August. Students will receive an email prior to their distribution requesting their choice of collecting the diploma in the Office of the Registrar or having it mailed.
Graduation 2010
The Commencement Ceremony was held on May 15, 2010. Please visit the Graduation web site at http://www.iit.edu/graduation for video and photos from the ceremony.
Fall Registration 2010
Registration alternate pins are available on students' myIIT accounts for continuing graduate students.
Undergraduate students should contact their advisor for their registration alternate pin. After an undergraduate student registers the first time for the semester the pin will appear on their myIIT account.
