The Many Voices, One Vision name reflects our absolute commitment to engaging and listening to the ideas and concerns of the entire IIT community. From the collection of voices representing students, faculty, staff, alumni, and trustees, we will define a dynamic vision to guide our future.
In the spirit of John Anderson’s inaugural address, the planning process began with a call for input from all corners of the university. More than 660 faculty, staff and students registered and submitted 300 responses to our request for your thoughts on where IIT should focus its energies and resources over the next decade as we seek to advance into the upper tier of universities.
In addition, more than 50 faculty, staff, trustees, and students submitted one pagers expanding on their ideas. We have also had great participation in our Reading Room discussions of interesting ideas.
