Illinois Tech’s graduate visit opportunities allow you to become acquainted with the university, our facilities, and the faculty in your prospective department, in addition to our Career Services team. Our attendees consistently emphasize the value of these visits, and we trust that you also will find them informative.
Our counselors also visit colleges and universities throughout the country, providing you an opportunity to learn more about the admissions process in your area.
Graduate Admission Enrollment Adviser Appointments
Join us and discover how Illinois Tech can assist you in advancing your career. If you have specific questions about degree programs or the admission process, you are invited to sign up for an individual appointment with an enrollment adviser. All our enrollment advisers are knowledgeable about the full range of Illinois Tech graduate programs and can help you determine which program may be the best fit for you.
Appointments are available via phone or online. Phone and video appointments are listed in the U.S. Central Standard Time. Video conference details will be shared in the confirmation email. For phone appointments, the enrollment advisor will call you at your scheduled time.
Online Information Sessions
Learn more about our graduate programs by participating in an hour-long online information session hosted by our enrollment advisors and award winning faculty. There will be a 45 minute formal presentation, immediately followed by a 15 minute question and answer period which will allow you to submit questions to be answered live. All times listed are in U.S. Central Time.
Accelerated Decision Days select Fridays
Accelerated decision days allow domestic applicants (U.S. based students) interested in our professional master programs the opportunity to receive a provisional offer of admission on the same day.
Appointments are conducted via video conference only. Students must have access to a computer with video and microphone capabilities.
Students interested in participating in our accelerated decision day should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of a 2.8 or higher from an accredited U.S. based university or college
- Must currently be enrolled in or graduated from a U.S. based college or university and residing in the United States.
Participants must submit the following documents prior to their appointment confirmation:
- Undergraduate transcripts from a U.S. based college or university (copy is acceptable)
- Copy of GRE scores (not required for Fall 2020)
- Current resume or completed personal statement indicating your reasons for pursuing a graduate degree from Illinois Institute of Technology

Beyond attracting more than 120 top employers to campus, our Career Services team prepares students through individualized coaching, résumé writing workshops, and small group events.
