The university will comply with applicable State law regarding election days subject to the conditions set forth below.


If employees are unable to vote in an election during non-working hours, the university will grant up to two hours of paid time off to vote in any election provided that:
  • The employee requests such time at least 24 hours in advance; and
  • The employee’s working hours begin less than two hours after the opening of the polls and ends less than two hours before the closing of the polls.
