This Manual is not intended to create a contract between IIT and its employees. The sole purpose of the Manual is to describe IIT’s current policies and procedures. These policies and procedures are subject to evaluation and revision by IIT at any time at its sole discretion. It is the responsibility of employees to review this Manual periodically and familiarize themselves with any revisions. The most recent policy updates will be incorporated into this Manual and will become effective upon posting online below. A hard copy of the most current version of the Manual may be requested from Human resources.
This Manual applies to all employees of IIT. For academic staff, however, in the event of any conflict between the terms and provisions of the Faculty Handbook and this Manual, the specific terms and provisions contained in the Faculty Handbook will take precedence over those in this Manual.
This Manual has been comprehensively reviewed and revised and shall be effective as of July 2, 2014. As of this date, all previous sections, terms, and provisions of this Manual shall be null and void and of no further effect.
