One of the objectives of the Center for Learning Innovation is to help instructors become better teachers by sharing the latest pedagogical techniques and up-to-date technologies with them. Whether it be through one-on-one collaboration or group sessions that promote community among our world-class faculty, we want to facilitate the connections that lead to better teaching practices. The center offers a variety of workshops to address teaching needs, such as how to use Blackboard more effectively and how to create authentic assessments that encourage academic integrity in our students. Throughout the year, our programming assists instructors in providing a distinctive and relevant education experience. Following our best practices will lead to more fulfilling and challenging learning in our student community. Learn about the ways that Illinois Tech instructors have used innovative practices to respond to the needs of students in the ever-changing world of higher education.
