For current and past residents, the Office of Residence Life can provide a letter verifying your residency at Illinois Tech. This letter gives your local address and confirms the years that you lived in the residence halls. This type of letter is often requested by banks, potential employers, and landlords.Please note, this document takes time to research and produce and a delay of up to 4 business days should be expected. Please plan accordingly. If you are unable to pick up the letter in person, we can email it to you.
To request a residency verification, send a request to housing@iit.edu.
Please include:
- Your full name
- CWID number / A# number
Also, indicate if you will be picking up the letter in person or would like it to be sent by email.
