The Staff Advisory Council (StaffAC) was initiated by President Alan W. Cramb in 2016. The StaffAC is composed of university staff who are nominated and selected by their staff peers. It is the only staff assembly recognized by the university administration as officially representing the views of staff employees. It serves as an important function of communication between staff and the university’s administration.
The StaffAC provides:
- A transparent platform to share concerns and issues about the state of the university and to discuss them directly with the president to bridge gaps of communication
- A forum for staff to share concerns and issues with the StaffAC
- A productive voice to improve Illinois Tech, enable student success, and build community by addressing staff concerns and creating an impact throughout the university
Additional details about the council and how it operates are available in the StaffAC Bylaws.
