Application Dates and Deadlines

Illinois Tech recommends submitting your application as early as possible. Our admission staff members are here to guide you through the process and to answer any questions you and your family may have.

Please note that some merit scholarships require supplemental application materials and an on-campus interview. View the selection criteria for our merit scholarships.

Learn more about each of our undergraduate application deadlines below. Early decision, early action, and dual program deadlines are available for fall entry only.

Note: This webpage lists the official deadlines for 2021-2022. Previously printed materials may reflect our prior first-year admission deadline of August 1.

Early Decision I and Early Decision II applications are binding—this means if you are accepted into Illinois Tech under one of our early decision deadlines, you are required to withdraw all applications from other universities.

Early decision I applicants will be considered for all merit scholarships offered by the institution, while early decision II applicants will receive priority consideration for merit scholarships with a deadline of January 1 and later.
