If you need to update your I-20/DS-2019, you must submit a request to the International Center. Processing times may vary depending on the type of request. Learn about the requests and processes below.
The International Center, along with many other departments on campus is operating fully remotely for the next three weeks, starting from Monday, January 3rd, 2022. This means that I-20s and Ds-2019s cannot be picked up nor can they be mailed/shipped at this time.
As a result of the on-going covid-19 pandemic, the Student and Exchange Visitor’s Program (SEVP) has authorized all U.S. institutions, including Illinois Tech the ability to permanently issue electronic form I-20s to all international students indefinitely. Please note that this means U.S. local, state, and federal agencies no longer require the “original” copy of your Form I-20.
You do not have to pay for shipping of your Form I-20 as we will not be able to mail/ship them to you.
