Students who wish to audit a course need to register for the course and then make the audit request during the current semester's registration period. Students need to submit a course audit request from their Illinois Tech email account to registrar@iit.edu.

  • Audits will not be accepted after the last day to add a course—see the Academic Calendar
  • An auditor must pay full tuition, cannot take examinations, and does not receive credit for the course
  • After registration closes, courses cannot be changed to or from an audit status
  • Audited courses do not count toward degree requirements at Illinois Tech
