The course audit policy is as follows:
- An auditor must pay full tuition, cannot take examinations, and does not receive credit for the course
- After registration closes, courses cannot be changed to or from an audit status
- Audited courses do not count toward degree requirements at IIT
- Audited courses follow the same deadlines as regular courses—refer to the Academic Calendar
Students who wish to audit a course need to register for the course and then submit the Course Audit Request Form to the Office of the Registrar during the current semester's registration period. Students need to submit the course audit request from their Illinois Tech email account.
