Housing for 2023-2024 Academic Year
The housing application for the 2023-2024 academic year is live! You can select your preferred building on the application, but please note that room placements will be based upon open rooms available at the time.
New, Incoming First-Year Undergraduate Students
Apply to live in student housing by completing your housing contract in the Housing Portal. The contract allows you to select your housing preferences, including residence hall and preferred roommates. All first- and second-year students can choose to live in either Kacek Hall, Cunningham Hall or Lewis Hall in McCormick Student Village.
Students who live with a parent or guardian within 20 miles of Illinois Tech’s Mies Campus are eligible for a student housing waiver. All other waivers will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and approved by the Office of Admissions, so make sure to discuss with your admission counselor if this applies to your situation.
If you have any questions about the housing application or room assignments, please email us at housing@iit.edu.
